WOMANITY X KANDYBOI X FINDING HAPPY

It takes a lot of pain to become a Strong person, it does not happen overnight. I have learned that in the past few growing from my teenage years to becoming a fairly mature and well grounded 23 year old. I go through my life with an open mind, no judgement and always willing to learn more through communication and allowing life to take charge of the paths. I am truly obsessed with beautiful women that are about their education and careers, seeing that growth from then honestly makes me so happy and that's how the BBGM movement came about. It is about pure motivation, its vulgar and gangster but that's how you have to be as a woman in business or life, you cannot be polite in business. So in turn having "BITCH'' persona or exterior its a survival tactic. Most that have become BITCHES have been hurt deeply by a lot of situations in their lives. I know a lot of women who are complete sweethearts once you get to understand their thought process and what they are trying to achieve. I say be that girl that takes no prisoners, be selfish in a sense to find pure peace with yourself. Love yourself enough to do what makes you happy!!

Its a simple switch. Just turn it on and off when appropriate. Be a Boss. A Boss in all Aspects of your Life.

So down here I will draft down a few steps that I think you should take as a young woman who feels like world is too heavy on your shoulders. I spend a lot of time with Women and young girls that I've given advice to and its working for them. Steps that I've used in my Life as well.

My Personal Process

Step One: I have always been a straight talker but I will never forget being respectful. So you first need to get a Diary and write down what makes you happy. It can be anything. Fashion, Travel or Reading. Ensure that at least once a week, just one you squeeze in personal time to achieve that happiness. You may be as busy as a Bee but always prioritise that Time, to make sure that its always there ensure that the whole household knows when its your time so that nobody bothers you. Make it a routine.

Step Two: Now this is what I call the step that will test your consciousness towards your life, what I did when I wanted to feel free what cut off all my hair. In high school I had a lot of hair,  so I chopped it all off and it was liberating, but that was not good enough in my subconscious. I then sat down and starting thinking about the types of people I like to have around my space and to just protect my energy, I started to get rid of dead weight. Which started with toxic friendships and so forth, I made my circle a lot smaller. Small enough to know who to always call when I actually needed a friend. I have since been happier.

Step Three: Always be ready to learn and understand new things which is what I think keeps us going. This goes back to my first step. Once you find what makes you happy its easier to appreciate and learn from life. For example, Travel. Moving from one place to another is liberating, speaking to a stranger is amazing, learning new cultures will help you appreciate yours. Being stagnant in your Education will only keep you in one place, you cannot grow without knowledge. So I definitely do vouch for Travel.

As black children we are always taught that you need to take care of home which I do not agree with, although its extremely important I don't think that it is viable. We are taught to work backwards that is why there is so much poverty in our community. I say work ahead, always. If you will always work backwards, you lose sight of your future. Your parents struggles are not your, their challenges are not yours. You need to live your life and focus on the future but do assist when necessary.

You have to grow and build your life.
I will be doing an in depth discussion on this topic and more in video versions with my close friends and family just so you understand my point of view.

ShaunStylist X KandyBoi

South African men have become true fashionistas and I am certainly not complaining, with myself being one of the best styled/dressed people I know out there. I have managed to grow my personal brand through social media, it has worked wonders for me and many other stylish people out there.

I have had the opportunity to work with Shaun hosting one of my event call
#TheBadBitchExperience

One of my favourite stylish digital influencers has to be the incomparable Shaun Andile Naki better known as Shaun Stylist (pictured below). I am truly inspired and obsessed with his sense of style and his ability to stay consistent with it, he is always well dressed and is always able to grab your attention with his amazing confidence which he defines as his alter ego. So I had the opportunity to ask him a few questions and he gladly answered. This is just a simple Q and A with @ShaunStylist, be sure to keep up with him on Instagram!

Having been around him a couple of occasions I've realised that his style matches his personality and very humble nature, I hope this read actually someone out there and motivates you to use the internet for your own gain as Shaun has.
Q : So your social media name is @shaunStylist, which already has a major following and it is extremely recognizable. How did you come up with the name?
A : Shaun is my birth name I've used this name rather than Andile which is my second name, I feel like Shaun and Andile are two different people hence I'm more connected to Shaun who is more outspoken, loud and a hustler. The name Shaunstylist came about due to a lot of people always asking how and where I would get my unique styles of clothing and styling, so I then saw an opportunity to become brand by combining the two. So its basically just Shaun who is a Stylist.

Q : What has the journey of being seen as a Fashion icon in SA been like?
A : It is extremely humbling to have seen it grow in such a short space of time, and not to sound arrogant but I believe that its just the beginning stages of the brand as I have more to offer as Shaun Stylist to the public. Being regarded as a Fashion icon simply alerts me that there is pressure now more than before to work harder and stay on point as there are people looking up to me.

Q : How did you manage to grow name? Who was instrumental in the growth and how did you attract such a huge following?
A : I have been true to myself and to my brand from the very beginning which my main philosophy is to always DRESS to IMPACT and not to IMPRESS. So by saying that I've never moved from the intention of my business. I can never really say that any specific person was instrumental in my growth I believe that it was a collective effort through the people that have supported me from the beginning. By use reposts and so forth.

Q : How do you remain Consistent?
Consistency is fundamental and is a reflection to the public that you are content with your goals and motives. I stay in my lane and always keep moving ahead with blinders because I  don't want to be influenced by anything and I don't want to stray away from my authenticity.

Q : How much of your Clothing is sponsored. Or are all these pieces from your own personal purchases? Do you currently have endorsement deals?
A  : Like I said earlier my career is still on the rise but I currently have a few deals in place that assist me in my day to day looks. I have JonathanD, Simoni Exclusive, DeJavu and a black owned and produced energy drink called MoFaya just to name a few.

Q : With all the negativity and hate in the internet, how do you manage to stay above it all?
A : Number one, I am a firm believer in the word of GOD and his principles in Life. Speak life into the things you want to materialize ( The Law Of Attraction) So Shaun Stylist is not formed by just hard work its also the word of GOD.

Q : Besides being passionate about fashion and style. What made you believe that it would work in your favour? Cause now you are featured on the latest season of 10 over 10 on VUZU Tv. Being Shaun Stylist has given you tons of opportunities.
A : Yeah I am featured on the latest season of 10 over 10 which is a great platform for me to learn. And it has awarded me the opportunity to work within the political platform, getting to work with other very influential and powerful people is a blessing.

Q : What are some of your future plans in regards to Fashion?
A : I am working on starting a Fashion Legacy Seminar, where ill be imparting my skills and educational programmes on how to conduct yourself as a brand and living up to your full potential as a human being. I believe that sharing is powerful in the sense that youll never lack if you share rather that to be selfish and stagnant.

Q : And of course I have to ask you this, what are your must have items in terms of mens fashion. What does every man need in his Closet?
A : A crisp white shirt and it has to be fitted, a mesculine cologne. Collection of time pieces and obviously a well tailored suit.

Q : And of course I have to touch on relationships and how you love your woman to be. What types of styles do you love seeing on women? Tying to my Feminist movement called BBGM, I know that you are currently in relationship with a very independent girl, who I adore. What advice would you give to women in regards to love and relationships?
A : I love Classy with modern trends touched into the looks for their beauty is just a plus, I feel like at least 3 times in a week they need to look extremely classy.
NOTE: All women are beautiful and they need to believe that before being tol by a man.
In terms of relationships, you need to always know your motives of being In a relationship so that its clear for you to carry them out without failure.

Q : Any words of Motivation to some people out aspiring to be like you?
You just need to understand your calling for excellence is within your own reach
and remember DRESS to IMPACT and never to IMPRESS.

POSITIVE ENERGY X KANDYBOI

Hello guys, so today I decided to actually delve into the little things that I do, and that keep me motivated. I first hand know how hard it is to keep going when you feel as though your efforts are not noticed or are not getting you to the end goal. I am just going to draft down my personal process to keep me moving forward.

"All we are is the Result of what we thought-Budha"

I believe that the energy we keep around us is what keeps us going, so I try to keep friends that see the best out of every situation, I try to constantly read or be around the particular things that bring me joy. If you can be with people that are in the field of work you'd like to be in then do that, learn the tricks of the trade before you go into it.

"Whatever the mind can conceive it can achieve- W Clement Stone"

Now I am going to give you guys a few steps that I've learned use in order to achieve personal and career oriented Goals.

The Powerful Process

Step One : Start making a list of the things that you are currently grateful for (Gratitude) like family and friends, just anything that has brought you joy. When you are grateful and accepting of your current situation, you automatically open up attraction to the things that you will in turn require.

Step Two: Now that you are grateful and have accepted your current blessing. You now have to look at the things or goals you would like to achieve. Write down every single thing that you would like to achieve and give it timeframe which will open up enough time for you to do the ground work towards that specific Goal.

Step Three: VISUALIZE This is the most powerful of all steps, remember that your imagination can take you anywhere. when you visualize, you. Always and only dwell upon the end result, feel the Joy of how it would feel to have that specific thing you wanted. Hold on that feeling when it feels a little tiresome.

Step Four ; VISION BOARD. To make it easier to visualize the Goals, get magazine clippings and cut outs that match your goals so you have an image of the goals. Get an A3 board paper and slowly fill it up with your Goals to have a constant image and keep it close so you constantly see it. It becomes a reminder of why you doing the ground work.

Remember : DO NOT DELAY, DONT SECOND GUESS AND DO NOT DOUBT YOURSELF. JUST ACT!!!!!
